The Vayapay Smart Payment Platform offers a fully modular feature set. its modules are the Risk Engine, Tokenization, Payment Engine and Broker. Each module will process according to scheme rules for the particular transaction: cEMV ticketing, online/in-app and vending. The Platform communicates via APIs with the operators ticketing and business logic, the sales channels (validators, gates, apps, website, vending) and inspection device, and the acquirer. The Smart Payment Platform orchestrates the correct charging for the ride and initiates a payment from the passenger’s bank account to the operator’s account. In inspection mode, the SPP will check travel rights linked to EMV cards. The modular architecture facilitates an unmatched flexible acceptance system, connecting any sales channel to multiple acquirers. The platform coordinates the processes and the interaction with the connected systems. The platform is provided in SaaS mode, is scalable and fully PCI-DSS and EMV L3 certified.
