Parkburn Precision Handling Systems Ltd is a privately-owned engineering led UK company with significant experience and capabilities in the design and turnkey mobilisation of both land based cable storage systems and offshore cable deployment and retrieval systems.
Parkburn is the world’s most experienced provider of specialist marine telecoms handling systems and equipment, having supplied systems and equipment to over 80 vessels and cable depots since 1970.
Having supplied the first Linear Cable Engine under the then “Dowty” brand, Parkburn has been continually developing cable laying and retrieval technologies from the original hydraulically driven systems through to today’s state of the art AC electric, digitally controlled & self-fleeting systems.
