The Genizer Jacketed Liposome Extruder uses nitrogen gas to push a drug, protein, or gene liposome suspension through a track-etched membrane with a specific pore size. Typically, 5-10 passes are enough to achieve consistent liposome sizes. It is designed to produce uniform unilamellar liposomes and lipopolyplexes.
