The success of Precision Oncology is heavily dependent on the effective aggregation of data from genetic changes through to biomarker identification and the subsequent prioritisation and development of therapeutic interventions. Twenty years ago, the Catalogue of Somatic Mutation In Cancer (COSMIC) was launched to tackle the data aggregation challenge relating to cancer.
