Contrails, the white clouds behind planes, significantly contribute to greenhouse gases and are five times more effective at trapping heat than CO2. Starting in 2025, the European Union Parliament and Council will establish regulations requiring each aircraft operator to monitor and report the effects of contrails. Consequently, Nexus Lab's software predicts potential contrail formation zones and continuously provides alternative routes to pilots and dispatchers, allowing them to make proper adjustments to flight level/route to avoid contrail formation.
