Products & Services

Information
Adherent cell expansion. Simplified. The CellScrew® is a cell culture system designed for mass expansion of adherent cells. By rotating the CellScrew®, media and gas are transferred through Archimedes' Screws, providing an excellent environment for the cells. Concentric cylinders inside the vessel also create a large growth area. Due to TC-treatment, the surface is ideal for cell attachment and growth. The compact design allows for easy handling, saves incubator space, and is made of plant-based Polylactic acid (PLA).
- Available in three sizes: CellScrew®10K with a growth surface of 10,000 cm² and CellScrew®6K with a growth surface of 6,000 cm² and the downscale model CellScrew® mini with 850 cm².
- Requires 80-85% less material for the same growth surface.
- Produces up to 90% less CO₂ emissions than conventional systems (due to material savings and improved CO₂ balance of PLA).
- One CellScrew®10K can replace 133 T-75 flasks or 12 roller bottles.
