I-GENE project: In-Vivo Gene Editing By NanotransducErs114I-GENE or “In-Vivo Gene Editing By NanotransducErs” is a European funded project under the FET-OPEN scheme that focuses on overcoming current limitations of genome editing. The main issues of the current technologies are impaired in vivo delivery of the editing complexes, and high off target activity by the nucleases. I-GENE is applying Boolean Logic and Nanotransducers for efficient delivery of the technology and safer gene editing.
